Rabba Main Kya Karoon (2013) Review: Cheating Is A Dish Served Best Cheated

Rabba Main Kya Karoon

We have all seen those movies which tell us how to survive a zombie apocalypse and how to fight off aliens and when the earth is invaded how to hide. this movie sadly explores ‘cheating’ as a metaphor for getting into the minds of all those faithful husbands that how cheating is just gonna make you look better and suave. Well, if not for this movie, the cheaters wouldn’t even think of cheating. It’s a parody on the ‘good guys’ who turn out to be faithful hubbies for life.

STARRING

Akash Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Tahira Kocchar and Riya Sen.

Rabba Main Kya Karoon (2013) (IMDb | Wikipedia) : OVERVIEW

Rabba Main Kya Karoon is a 2013 Hindi Romantic Comedy film directed by Amrit Sagar Chopra and produced by Moti Sagar.

MOVIE TRAILER

REVIEW

Faint hope is aroused in the beginning when the lead protagonists are allowed to be young and frothy. But as soon as the engagement-wedding stuff starts, they are stuck in shaadi ka jodas, surrounded by relatives spouting unwanted advice, and of course, dear bade bhaiya Arshad, who arrives classy astride a Harley Davidson, and then shoots his mouth off, most crudely, about notching numbers on the belt.

STORY

The tale of a virgin-groom and his determination not to lose his cherry no matter how much he gets provoked by his randy brother is told with a tongue-in-cheek flair. The good time guy suddenly explores the dark side of the ‘goody good’ world.

PERFORMANCE

Nonetheless, the theory that “all” men cheat on their wives is explored through the slimy characters played by Paresh Rawal, who proves his wife, the ever-brilliant Sushmita Mukherjee, clinically unhinged to get away with his womanizing, Shakti Kapoor, who euphemistically describes fornicating as smoking, and Arshad, who fools his gullible wife Riya Sen into believing he is faithful to her. Paresh Rawal is ever fresh and gives a new meaning to the movie which starts on a bad note. While after the swashed Jolly LLB, Arshad Warsi tries to do his best, so he says. But let’s see if he knocks you off the right amount with all the shaddi theme and preparations in the backdrop, which are sufficient to surpass him as an actor even. 😛

MUSIC

“Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” had some of the best music which we ever listened. This movie has it all, except that. And except that class which “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” it has brought to the audience.

VERDICT

Watch this movie over BA Pass any day and don’t forget to criticize the marriage because even though it’s fat, it has no grill-shrill and thrill. The marriage sometimes seems too funeralistic. 😛 But what the heck! 😀 Rating: 2/5
